Career Programs Scholarship

Career Programs Scholarship established by Dr. Robert Young in 2010: An eligible applicant is enrolled in any FCC degree or certificate career program (credit or continuing education), has successfully completed at least 60 classroom hours of the FCC Adult Basic Education program, and successfully obtained his/her high school diploma (or earned a GED after completing the GED course work at FCC). He/she must be a Frederick County resident. GPA level is not a requirement. Scholarship is awarded based financial need (FASFA). NOTE: If no ABE or GED applicants are available for a semester, the scholarship may be awarded to a career student who did not go through the GED or ABE programs. Recipient must write a thank you letter to the donor.
