Loats Scholarship Fund established by the Loats Foundation in 1991: Frederick County resident; priority consideration given to orphans and students from single parent families; financial need based on FAFSA; good grades (2.0 or higher); priority consideration given to applicants who intend to pursue a career in public service such as teacher, nurse or social worker; enrolled in 6 credits or more
