Jody Rebecca Krantz Scholarship

This scholarship has been created by Marshall Dustin Rood and Dallas Rebecca Rausch in loving memory of their mother, Joanne (‘Jody’) Rebecca Krantz (maiden name). Jody was a loving and determined single mother of two who made countless sacrifices to ensure a prosperous future for her children. In doing so, she taught the lessons of thinking about how your actions will impact you and others in the future (“look before you leap”, as she would say), of always striving to understand others (“don’t judge others until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”) and that every challenge in life is an opportunity to become a better person (“everything happens for a reason”). This scholarship has been established to honor her legacy by giving a hand up to other single parents.
