Ray and Holly Ramsburg Special Challenges Scholarship

The Ray and Holly Ramsburg Special Challenges Scholarship established by J. Ray Ramsburg, III and Holly A. Ramsburg in 2007: An eligible applicant is a Frederick County resident enrolled in 6 or more credits with financial need based on FAFSA and a current documented physical disability. Documentation for disability must be on file with the Services for Students with Disabilities office. Priority is given to Frederick County high school graduates. Scholarship award is renewable annually to the recipient for as many semesters as the student meets the criteria or until the student’s education is completed. Annual scholarship is divided into two equal awards made for the fall and spring semesters of the academic year. Recipient is required to write a thank you letter.
