Institute for Learning in Retirement Scholarship

Institute for Learning in Retirement Scholarship established by the ILR Advisory board and an anonymous donor in 2009: An eligible applicant is a resident of Frederick County and returning adult student out of high school for 22 or more years who is furthering his/her career skills and/or who is changing his/her career and has financial need based on FAFSA. Recipient may be enrolled in credit or non-credit classes. Recipient is required to write a thank you letter to the donor.
