William H. and Marianne E. Browning Memorial Scholarship

William H. and Marianne E. Browning Memorial Scholarship Fund established by their son, William Browning, in 2000 with a gift to the Community Foundation of Frederick County: An eligible applicant for this award is a Frederick County resident enrolled in a continuing education program (vocational or skills training), exemplifies academic promise, and has financial need (based on FAFSA). The recipient should be acquiring skills that will enable him/her to be gainfully employed after completion of their coursework. The recipient is required to write a thank you letter to the donor.
